Introducing our PSL, Pineapple Swing Lever for EOTECH VUDU LPVOs.
Its short, fat form factor with crosshatched knurling pattern (hence the pineapple naming) is designed to give you positive grip without stabbing you while your rifle is slung or poking holes in your seat if you happen to lay it down.
The original prototype was made for a local SWAT officer who was looking for improved ergonomics while still maintaining a profile that could be easily utilized under stress in any condition and hold up to the abuse of his line of work. The long, thin throw lever that was native to his optic was damaged from being bumped into things including his body armor.
The steel construction and wide base provide extra strength and interface with the optic, preventing bending or breaking. The knurling is aggressive but not sharp, reducing slippage without tearing up your hands unlike some factory optic levers.
Lifetime, No Questions Asked replacement warranty covers the knob if you do happen to break it somehow.
This model is designed to work with EOTECH Vudu 1-6x, 1-8x, and 1-10x LPVOS. It may be compatible with other optics but has not yet been tested. We are working on compatibility with other models that should be ready in the future.
Pineapple Swing Lever Installation:
-Remove old throw lever
-Apply a small amount of low strength thread locker (optional). Check out our Armorer’s Chem Kits if you need thread lockers for working on your rifle.
-Thread the lever into the optic and torque hand tight. You may use a set of pliers and a rag to apply a very small amount of extra torque to the lever but don’t overdo it or you risk stripping out the aluminum threads. You can use the pliers and rag method to remove it if ever needed.
We are aware of an issue affecting approximately 10% of our customers, where the PSL does not seat completely in the threaded hole. If yours does not seat completely, please contact us and we will send you a PSL with a shorter thread extension. Alternatively, you may remove one or two threads off the end of the extension to make it fit. All levers shipped after 7-25-22 have already been modified to account for this issue.Â
